In the coming weeks we’ll be rolling out a beta program for new JumpBox releases. Joining the beta program will get you early access to new JumpBoxes and JumpBox platform features. First up will be new JumpBoxes for Joomla 1.5 and OTRS.

We’ve just noticed that currently released JumpBoxes are forcing a file system check on initial boot. This will just happen when the JumpBox is first started. The boot process should then proceed as normal. There’s nothing really wrong when this happens, but it is a bug in the JumpBox that’s causing it to get triggered on a brand new install. If you encounter it, just let it do its check and then the JumpBox will function as normal. We’re working on a new build for all JumpBoxes to address the issue.
Update: This was more isolated than initially thought and all JumpBoxes have been updated with a fix. This only affects new users, existing users don’t need to worry about updating.
